About Startup Network
With the world's largest online pitch event for startups and investors, Startup Network's Unicorn Cup unites both interest groups in a huge networking cosmos. And it's a tradition: startups from various sectors have been competing live for the attention of venture capital and corporate partners since 2009. Startup Network is a platform with more than 1,000,000 users worldwide and more than 20,000 registered startups. Startup Network's mission is to bring together the startup and investment community. At the Unicorn Cup finals, the Global Pitch Competition Finals, more than 35,000 viewers are expected to be present when over 20 startups present their pitch live.
The next pitch will take place on November 29, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (CET time) online in the entire DACH region. Access will only be granted to registered participants.
This time with a special edition - #Invest4impact - The Social Impact Pitch
Startups in the field of social impact are often confronted with a multitude of challenges and prejudices. In order to dispel prejudices and provide more visibility for social impact startups, we are building a bridge between investors, policy makers, education and founders with the Social Impact Pitch. Our vision is to increase visibility & proof for social impact startups by attracting more investors and increasing the share of men & gender diversity in social impact startups.
The initiator and organizer
The event is initiated and organized by Dr. Irène Kilubi, she is Limited Partner at the Business Angel Network GoBeyond and as Founder and Managing Director of brand Preneurs & brand Fluencers she supports the global startup scene in her activities as mentor and coach at Techstars, European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Health Accelerator, InsurTech Hub and as a juror at BayStartup, the African Leadership Award, in the Advisory Board of Women in AI, and the Advisory Board of Ignite Mental Health.
She is also an Expert Advisor for the European Innovation Council Accelerator of the European Commission. She also moderates the Cashwalk and It's a Co-Founder Match events for German Entrepreneurship GmbH.
